Through a variety of programs, our Fort Wayne UNITED Youth Achievement pillar equips youth with the necessary tools, relationships, and resources to reach their full potential—in all aspects of life. From educational opportunities, conflict resolution, leadership development, coaching, and so much more, Youth Achievement provides a positive and nurturing environment where youth can thrive alongside responsible, caring adults.
The Fort Wayne UNITED Ten Point Coalition is influencing the lives of young people, families, local businesses, and neighborhoods by implementing proactive strategies to reduce violence and emphasize the importance of education, employment and community partnerships.
The goal of the United Front Initiative is to bring the community of Fort Wayne together to attain racial healing, equity, education, and organizational transformation by developing shared knowledge and understanding around various topics related to diversity and inclusion.

About Us…
In 2016, Fort Wayne UNITED was launched as a mayoral initiative under the leadership of our late mayor, Tom Henry. Uniting two national efforts, Cities United and My Brother’s Keeper, under one umbrella, Fort Wayne UNITED was designed to:
- answer the call to enhance opportunities for the most vulnerable citizens of
our community through advanced youth advocacy; - create a safer city for those impacted most by violent crime;
- educate and empower leaders; and
- decrease violence while increasing hope in specific neighborhoods.
By bringing together a diverse group of passionate and committed leaders, the initiative educates, informs, and engages our community.
